I am Mebin Varghese, a textile designer and artist based in Bangalore. I explore mediums to build narratives and create effective communication that drives engagement.

Having worked with a range of young brands and artisan communities, my work spans across textile & product design, creative visualization, and brand building; at the core of which lies a human centred approach.

My firsthand experience with community and craft at Kaiyare enabled me to understand the practical implications of mindful design and the complexities of systemising a value chain.

When I'm not doing any of the above, you'll find me scribbling in my notebook or exploring new ideas on my desktop and almost always burning something in my kitchen. To oversimplify my process - I think of each project as a story. Once I map out what I want to tell, to whom and how, the rest takes shape - each story different from the other.
